A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Network Rail to carry out level crossing inspection works which are expected to commence 18th January 2025 and anticipated to take 2 days to complete.

Location: A689 Milton, near Brampton from its junction with the entrance to Milton Mains Holiday Cottages, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 150m.
Alternative Route: A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the restricted sections of the A689, Bellster Bank and the A69.
